Serfino “Gus” A. Robles, began his journey to his Creator and Lord on April 12, 2024, just one week short of his 82nd birthday. Born April 19, 1942 in New York and raised in New Jersey, he was taught by his parents, Serafin and Louise (Montour) Robles to be loving, creative, hard working and positive.
Gus served in the US Army and upon discharge began working in the furniture industry. He worked his way up through the industry to become Installation Manager for the largest Herman Miller dealer on the East Coast. Later he started his own office furniture installation company with many large and loyal clients in the Cleveland area.
Gus, “Karonhiio”, was proud of his Native American heritage, sharing first with Boy Scout troops, then later with church youth groups and others. He always had a joke to tell or a funny adaptation of Bible stories to share. He loved old cars, do wop music and being creative.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michele, his children Serf and Philicia; his brothers: David (Susan), Christopher (Gigi), Anthony, Joseph, Jonas, and Robert (Laurie), and sisters: Nancy Spiniello and Theresa (John) Manett, as well as his . grandchildren: Macy, Christian, Kayleigh, Emily, Abigael, and 10 great-grandchildren. Gus was preceded in death by his parents, brother Fernando Robles and infant sister Mary.
